I love Tumble Tots because I love my family.

“Tumble Tots? Ano yan?” I quipped. Admittedly, those were my initial reaction to my wife when I first heard of Tumble Tots. Not to sound skeptical, but I thought the whole idea of “teaching” my then 7 month-old baby was plain silly. But in spite of my incredulous attitude, my wife was able to talk me into enrolling our daughter. I still didn’t know what to expect from Tumble Tots but I tried keeping an open mind. When we finally showed up for Naomi’s first day, my wife and I were enjoined to take part in our baby’s activities. These entailed a lot of singing, active play (walking on planks, crawling in tunnels, etc.) and, of course, reading books. Apparently, over the weeks she has been regularly attending her sessions, I can see great changes in my child’s attitude and dispositions. Her self-confidence was heightened tenfold! She also became more appreciative of the music we play for her. And even though she hasn’t learned to walk until her first year, she can easily dismount from her bed gracefully without having to worry about her safety. Her grandparents were just as amazed to see her stroll around the house (she is already a year old) beaming with her newfound confidence! According to her grandma, she couldn’t help comparing Naomi to her other grandkids. “Parati siyang masaya! It seems everyday she’s got a new reason to smile.” I couldn’t agree with her more. My Naomi is also giving us good reasons to smile everyday. I guess Tumble Tots had a hand in my child’s positive development and I’m actually grateful.
Tumble Tots has indeed brought my family closer together. Nothing is more important to me than having my family by my side every chance I get. Tumble Tots provided us quality family time that we will always cherish. One day, Naomi will go through some old photo albums and see herself as a baby sporting her Tumble Tots uniform. She will feel nothing but pride and joy for being a part of an extended family – a family she once called Tumble Tots.
